We are a single-doctor practice located in Rolling Prairie, Indiana.
Receptionist/CSR:
Is that person who has in his/her control the optimum flow of all patients and communication in the office.
He/she is, in effect, the hub of the office, and as such, the office will be judged greatly by the image that he/she presents.
NPSAC is looking for an individual with a solid customer service background, strong computer skills, be able to operate a multi-line phone system, knowledge of veterinary and medical terminology, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Applicants must embrace a team-oriented approach to problem solving and efficiency, as well as be independent, flexible and have a strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to be successful in this position.
Job Duties:
Answering phones, greet clients and patients, scheduling appointments, dispensing medication, general client education, managing medical records, process payments, communicate between clients and other staff, and more.
Receptionists must be able to empathize with clients and remain compassionate and well-mannered if a client becomes emotional or discourteous.
They should remain calm and collected in the face of emergency situations.
Receptionists should have a firm belief in the quality of care we provide and communicate this sense of assurance to our clients.
The receptionist must know and understand our services and recommendations and be able to clearly communicate these to our clients.
This position would be 15-25 hours a week and some Saturdays.
Must be 18 years old or older.
